Kamloops city staff say recommendations for long-term plans of city-owned boat launches will come forward this winter.
Civic facilities manager Jeff Putnam says the city recently wrapped up consultations about what people in Kamloops want to see.
“We got an incredible amount of feedback from park users, boat users, and people who recreate on the river. And it was really positive, some great suggestions. I know Urban Systems is working with us on that, and they’ve wrapped up the public engagement portion.”
Putnam said earlier this year that major upgrades are needed to the city-owned boat launches in Valleyview, Mac Island and at Pioneer Park.
