Kamloops RCMP say the vehicle involved in a hit and run yesterday afternoon that injured a 13-year-old has been found.

Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says the investigation is ongoing and no further details will be released at this time to protect the integrity of the investigation.

The vehicle in question was a black, newer-model Buick Encore which did not stop after the crash at 8th Avenue and Seymour Street.

There is no word yet on if there will be any charges laid.
