The Trans Mountain Pipeline expansion project is finally underway in Alberta and the Liberal Environment critic is hoping we’ve seen the end of delays in our province.
Work on the pipeline is set to start in BC in the spring, if there’s no more opposition to it.
Kamloops – North Thompson MLA Peter Milobar was on the NL Morning News and was asked if he thought the Horgan government would be putting up anymore resistance to the project. “I Certainly hope not. It’s sounding like the premier was pretty much resigned to the fact that their tool box was nothing more than a Tonka Toy set.”
Milobar added he doesn’t think the Horgan government has their priorities straight. “When you think of all the things they have not delivered in terms of childcare spaces, housing spaces you name it, the list goes on and on.”
“They spend all their time fighting a pipeline and fighting ride hailing seems like a misplace of their energies and their efforts as a government.”
When asked about TMX moving forward and what he thinks about the resistance the Horgan government has put up against the pipeline expansion Milobar said “That’s good to hear. It’s unfortunate they spent this much time fighting a project that would bring growth and some stability to our communities.”
