UPDATE – Drive BC says Highway One has reopened after an earlier closure between Salmon Arm and Sicamous.

There is no word on what caused the closure at this time.

ORIGINAL – The westbound lanes of Highway 1 between Salmon Arm and Sicamous are closed this morning due to a vehicle incident.

There is single lane alternating traffic through the affected area which is between Canoe Beach Drive NE and Bernie Road, 8 km east of Salmon Arm.

Emergency crews are en route, and the incident is being assessed,. An update expected at 9 a.m.
