Three men are in custody after a pair of ‘high risk’ warrants were executed in Salmon Arm today, according to the RCMP.
No names or details were released, but police say the men face potential criminal charges as the Southeast District Emergency Response Team was involved in the execution of the warrants shortly before 11 a.m. at two different houses.
Two of the men, a 27-year-old and a 28-year-old, are from Salmon Arm, while the third man, who is 39, is from nearby Canoe.
“Two individuals were taken into custody during the execution of the warrants,” said RCMP Southeast District spokesperson Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey. “A third individual connected to the case was already in police custody on an unrelated matter.”
He says the police operation ended without incident, but did not specify which of the three men were already in police custody.
O’Donaghey added the investigation remains ongoing as police continue to gather evidence at both scenes.
