Two people were taken to hospital with minor injuries after a serious two-vehicle crash on Highway 1, near the Copperhead Road exit.
RCMP say a small vehicle was heading east when it rear-ended a semi after apparently failing to keep its distance.
While the damage to the vehicle was extensive, the two occupants – a man and a woman in their early 30’s, from Kamloops were taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries only.
The driver of the semi was not injured according to police.
Police say traffic was disrupted for a short while, however the highway was not closed while they investigated.
