Police say the person was a resident of the house, noting that one of two assailants is in police custody.
“Police will be recommending multiple charges to the B.C Prosecution Service,” said Cpl. Brock Hedrick. “The second assailant is outstanding along with the victim’s vehicle, a dark green 1993 Dodge Dakota pickup truck bearing B.C. licence plate number DN4881.”
Police say several firearms were stolen from the victim’s house during the home invasion.
Hedrick is asking anyone who sees this vehicle or knows of its whereabouts to call 911 immediately, and to consider the occupants inside armed and dangerous.
