Kamloops RCMP are investigating after a theft at the Westsyde Liquor store this afternoon.
Police say around 1 p.m., two men got into the store and walked around for a little while, before grabbing some product and running out the door.
“They left the area on foot towards the North Thompson River,” said Cpl. Jodi Shelkie. “Police set up a perimeter but were unable to locate the men.”
She says the two suspects did not have weapons, nor did they make any threats. There were no injuries.
The first suspect was wearing a bandana over his face, a black toque, a dark-coloured jacket, and light-coloured pants. The second suspect was also wearing bandana over his face, a dark-coloured toque with a lighter stripe at the top, a dark-coloured jacket, and dark-coloured pants.
Shelkie says if people have any information about this theft, to reach out to Kamloops RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
