Police are looking for more information after an attempted abduction in Rayleigh yesterday.
Kamloops RCMP Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says at about 4:30 p.m., a 13-year-old boy riding his bike was stopped by a vehicle in front of the Rayleigh Pub, says he said no when someone in the vehicle asked if he wanted for a ride.
Shelkie says there were three men in the vehicle, and one man then got out and reportedly grabbed the boy on the arm.
She says the boy broke free and rode away, but says he was taken to hospital because he hurt his shoulder.
Mounties are now looking for three suspects who appeared to be in their twenties, who were in a grey four-door Honda sedan which had tinted rear windows. There was bumper sticker with the Thrasher logo and the first two letters of the license plate were apparently JV.
Shelkie says the man who grabbed the boy is described as five-feet eight-inches tall with blonde hair, shaved on the sides with a mullet. He had a Metallica tee shirt and brown cargo pants.
One man in the car had a shaved head and was wearing a black sweater and black sweatpants, Shelkie says. The other man in the car had dark skin and dark hair and was wearing shorts and a tee shirt.
Anyone with details is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP.
