
B.C. health officials have announced just four new cases of COVID-19 in its latest update, and no new deaths.
That’s the second-fewest number of cases reported in a day here since the pandemic started.
And it’s the second time this week there have been no deaths from the virus in a 24-hour span.
B.C.’s case count is now 2,562, but only 228 of those cases are active. There are 34 people in hospital with the virus across the province, and six people in intensive care.
There was one new case reported today in the Interior Health region.
The death toll from the virus is now at 162.
