Kamloops Mounties say no one was seriously hurt after someone drove into a parked car while under the influence then went down an embankment.
The crash happened at 1 p.m. this afternoon on Cariboo Place near Laval Crescent.
Staff Sgt. Mattias Van Laer says the red Dodge minivan went 30 feet off the embankment after hitting the parked car, which was unoccupied.
A 60-year-old man was given a 24-hour driving ban at the scene after failing a breathalyzer test, and police are recommending further charges under the Motor Vehicle Act.
