The BC CDC says passengers on a WestJet flight from Calgary to Kamloops last Wednesday may have been exposed to COVID-19.
It says there was a confirmed case on the September 16 flight WS3111 and that people in rows six to 12 are at a higher risk of infection.
People are being asked to self-monitor for symptoms and get tested for COVID-19 if symptoms like a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or a loss of sense of taste or smell begin to develop.
You can also take the COVID-19 self assessment test here. To book a test in the Interior Health Authority you’re asked to call your primary care provider or the closest Interior Health community testing and assessment centre.
This is the second flight that landed in Kamloops with a confirmed case of COVID-19 after another WestJet flight from Calgary back in March.
You’ll find a full list of all domestic travel-related COVID-19 exposures on the BC CDC website.
