Elections BC says there were 2,509 requests for mail-in ballots from the Fraser-Nicola riding, which could mean changes in the final result given the 385 vote difference between the Liberal and the NDP candidates.
Mail-in ballots could take as many as three weeks to count with final election results currently expected to come out on Nov. 16. All told, there were another 6,344 people who voted over the seven days of advanced polls between Oct. 15 to Oct. 21.
