Another winter storm warning has been issued for the Coquihalla Highway south of Merritt.
Environment Canada says a Pacific storm will move into tonight, and will bring between 30 and 40 centimetres of snow between tonight and Sunday evening.
“Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow,” the warning reads.
Flurries are also expected during the day, and the forecast calls for up to 5 cm snow today before heavier snow arrives this evening.
Much less snow is expected on the Coquihalla from Merritt to Kamloops and the Okanagan Connector, with 5-10 cm in the forecast from tonight to tomorrow night. Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass on Highway 1 is expected to see up to 15 cm of snow in that time period.
This storm warning comes after a winter storm warning was in place all day yesterday for the Coquihalla.
