A snowfall warning has been issued for the Hope to Merritt section of the Coquihalla with up to 25 cm of snow expected tonight.
Environment Canada says a moist and unstable airmass will lead to heavy flurries and snow near the Coquihalla Summit tonight into tomorrow evening.
The weather agency says the rapidly accumulating snow could make driving a challenge as visibility could be suddenly reduced.
Drivers are being asked to check Drive BC for the latest road conditions.
