
The BC Coroners Service has confirmed that one person was killed in a crash near Savona last night.
The crash happened at 6 p.m. last night on the Trans-Canada Highway, west of Deadman-Vidette Road.
BC Ambulance says two vehicles were involved, although further details of how the crash happened are not known. It’s believed only two people were involved and the second person was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The Coroners Service did not give more information about the person who was killed in the crash.
The highway was shut down between Cache Creek and Savona for about five hours after the crash according to DriveBC.
