Traffic will be impacted in two spots of downtown Kamloops over the next few days.
Lorne Street is closed just west of Mount Paul Way from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., because of “an unforeseen delay in planned infrastructure work,” according to the city. There will also be a closure there starting at 8 a.m. tomorrow and ending at 4 p.m. on Thursday.
Drivers can still use the Red Bridge as Lorne Street will remain open east of Mount Paul Way.
NL News has reached out to Street Manager Glen Farrow for more details on what the delayed work is.
Also, on the Overlanders Bridge, the off-ramp onto Mission Flats Road will be closed from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights this week. The city says crews will be repairing a guard rail during those hours.
