The North Shore Community Policing detachment has apparently been evacuated after reports of a gas leak this morning.

The incident was reported just after 11 a.m. and crews now have 7th Street blocked off at Brentwood Avenue.

As of 11:20 a.m., Kamloops Fire Rescue was at the scene and Fortis had been dispatched.
