A Kamloops man’s drunken crime spree ended with being arrested in a stranger’s hottub over the weekend.
Const. Crystal Evelyn says reports came in to Kamloops RCMP just after 6 a.m. on Saturday morning, when a man was rummaging through a shed at a home on Hudson Bay Trail.
Not long after, Evelyn says a man was chased off by security at a construction site on Victoria Street where a window had been smashed. She says a blanket was left behind at the site, pointing out a blanket had been stolen from the shed on Hudson Bay Trail further up the hill.
An hour after that, Evelyn says a homeowner in the area woke up to find an intoxicated man using his hottub.
She says the suspect was arrested and released after sobering up, with a promise to appear in court.
