An employee at the Real Canadian Superstore in Kamloops has tested positive for COVID-19, according to parent company Loblaws, which made the announcement on its website.

The unnamed employee at the Columbia Street store last worked on Jan. 4, but the update was dated Jan. 12.

It comes after a case at another Loblaws store – Cain’s Independent Grocer on the North Shore – from Jan. 8. The employee who tested positive there also last worked on Jan. 4.

Further details about this case are not clear.
