Another COVID-19 exposure has been reported at NorKam Secondary School in Kamloops.
Principal Jonathan Brady says the exposure took place on Wednesday to Friday of last week, Jan. 20 to 22.
In a letter to parents sent yesterday, Brady says contact tracing is underway and the person who tested positive is now isolating at home. If you don’t hear from Interior Health, he says it is safe for your children to go to school as normal.
No further details will be released and its unclear who tested positive for COVID-19.
If you have questions or concerns about COVID-19, you’re asked to contact 811.
This is the second exposure at NorKam Secondary after an exposure at the school last semester.
There have now been COVID-19 exposures at 15 schools across the School District 73 – eleven of which have happened this semester.
