Separate incidents are affecting the southbound lanes on both sections of the Coquihalla this morning.

In the past hour, a semi-truck has reportedly flipped over southbound between Kamloops and Merritt, specifically south of Helmer Road. DriveBC is not reportedly a closure from that incident but says southbound traffic should expect delays this morning.

Meanwhile, the southbound lanes of the Coquihalla remain closed because of an accident south of Merritt between Comstock Road and Coldwater Road, a stretch of about 20 kilometres.

That accident happened at about 3 a.m., and DriveBC now says the road will reopen at 11 a.m.

Further details of that accident remain unclear.
