Police say a 35-year-old Kamloops man was taken into custody after reports of an unwanted person in a building downtown.

Spokesperson Const. Crystal Evelyn says police were called to a building in the 200-block of Victoria Street around 10:35 p.m. on Tuesday by a cleaning crew who told them that a man was inside a building.

“Police attended and located a man wanted on an unendorsed warrant for theft and failing to comply with an Undertaking,” she said.

Dustin Joel Poudrier was arrested ahead of a court appearance today.
