
Two new COVID-19 exposures have been reported at schools in Kamloops.
According to the BC Centre for Disease Control, those exposures are at Beattie Elementary and NorKam Secondary. The risk of exposure at Beattie was on Feb. 17 and 18, and was on Feb. 18 and 19 for NorKam.
It’s not clear whether there is just one positive case in each exposure or if there are more.
As of Wednesday morning, there are five Kamloops schools with an active COVID-19 exposure, with the others exposures at Sa-Hali Secondary (Feb. 16), Valleyview Secondary (Feb. 11-12), and South Kam Secondary (Feb. 11-12).
Meanwhile, in the Nicola-Similkameen School District, a new exposure event has been reported today at Colletteville Elementary in Merritt. The risk of exposure there was on Feb. 18.
