Police in Kamloops are looking for suspects after a business downtown was robbed at knifepoint this morning.
Const. Crystal Evelyn says it happened at about 11 a.m. this morning in the 700-block of Victoria Street.
Evelyn says reports to police were that two men stole cash, a cordless phone and an employee’s wallet and cellphone, and that one of the men had a knife.
Police searched the area and found a number of items linked to the investigation, Evelyn says, but the suspects were not found.
Both suspects are described as being white men who were six feet tall, who were wearing baggy clothes. One man was wearing a dark green jacket and the other was wearing a black sweater, a flat brim hat and was holding a bag with a box inside.
Anyone with information is asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000, referencing file number 2021-6599.
