Kamloops RCMP are looking for help in identifying two people of interest in an investigation involving a stolen satchel.
Police say the were called to a report of a theft of a black leather satchel from a parked vehicle in the 200-block of Victoria Street downtown, on March 20, around 4:20 p.m. According to the report, the satchel had ID cards and other items inside.
Spokesperson Const. Crystal Evelyn says police went through surveillance video from different locations where the stolen bank cards were used. In one of the videos, she says a woman appears to be wearing the satchel.
“We are releasing images of two people of interest to help further our investigation,” she said. “It is our hope that someone will recognize the man or the woman and provide their names to police, or that the pair will come forth and assist police in locating the satchel.”
