Kamloops RCMP are looking for a suspect after an armed robbery with a knife at a business on Columbia Street West this afternoon.

Spokesperson Const. Crystal Evelyn says police were called to a business in the 1100-block of Columbia Street West just before 3:00 p.m. She says the suspect fled through the store’s rear door.

He is described as a skinny white man, approximately 30 years of age, standing five-foot-nine. He is believed to have either green or blue eyes. At the time, the suspect was wearing a black neck gaiter pulled up over his face, blue jeans, and a long sleeve black hoodie.

“The investigation is ongoing. No further information is available at this time,” Evelyn said.
