Interior Health is reporting a COVID-19 exposure at Chase Secondary School.
According to the IHA school exposure website, the exposure was on Tuesday to Friday of last week, April 27 to April 30.
As has been policy, students and staff who may have been in direct contact with the person who tested positive for COVID-19 are being contacted by health and school officials with further instructions.
If you’ve not been contacted, health officials say it is still safe for your children to go to school as normal.
There are now four active COVID exposures in SD73, with the others at Westmount Elementary, Bert Edwards School, and Kamloops School of the Arts.
If you have questions or concerns about COVID-19, you’re also asked to contact 811.
