A Kamloops man is facing charges after an overnight break and enter at a business in Aberdeen earlier this week.
RCMP spokesperson Const. Crystal Evelyn says police were called to the 1400 block of Pearson Place yesterday, June 9, after a break and enter that happened overnight.
“Surveillance footage provided a suspect image. Later that morning, police were advised that a man matching the suspect’s description was observed at the Aberdeen Mall,” she said. “Officers attended and made an arrest.”
Chadwick Robert Abram James, 35, is charged with one count of break and enter and one count of possessing instruments for the purpose of breaking into a place.
Evelyn says he was remanded in custody with a court appearance scheduled for June 28.
