Interior Health says there will be single lane traffic on 3rd Avenue for the next nine days because of construction at the Patient Care Tower project site.

Crews will be working on a new sidewalk along 3rd Avenue from today June 14 until next Tuesday, June 22.

“People with appointments at the hospital on these dates may wish to consider allowing extra time to reach their destinations,” IH said, in a statement.

Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.. There will be traffic control flaggers to help direct vehicles and pedestrians.
