
The province says four people died from COVID-19 today, and that there were 113 new cases.
Thirty-one of the new cases reported were in Interior Health, while 51 were in Fraser Health, 27 were in Vancouver Coastal Health, four were in Island Health and there were zero in Northern Health.
Active cases are at 1,454, which is 42 fewer than Tuesday. There are five fewer people in hospital with the virus than yesterday and two more people in intensive care, with now 134 hospitalizations and 41 people in ICU.
Meanwhile, another 62,237 vaccines were administered today in B.C. There have now been 4,165,142 doses administered, including 710,847 second doses.
This means 76.3 per cent of adults in the province have gotten a first dose and 74.6 per cent of people aged 12 and older have gotten at least one.
