The BC Wildfire Service and Kamloops Fire Rescue are working on a small fire not far from the Inks Lake exit on the Coquihalla.
KFR members were called to the site at about 1:30 p.m., to reports of an interface fire.
The BCWS says the fire is 0.5 hectares in size. It says it has 23 members on site. KFR responded with a bush truck and water tender initially.
The fire is highly visible from the Coquihalla in that area.
A cause of the blaze is not yet known.
