Kamloops RCMP looking for the public’s help finding a suspect involved in stabbing incident over a cab.
Corporal Jodi Shelkie says around 1 a.m on April 28th, a man and his friend were waiting for a cab at Victoria Street, and 3rd Avenue.
“When their cab showed up, another male, who also was accompanied by a small group of people, attempted to take the cab. An argument ensued between the victim, who had originally called for a taxi, and the suspect. The suspect then pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim.”
Shelkie says, the suspect got into a black BMW with Alberta plates and took off.
The victim suffered non life threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as: Caucasian, 6 feet tall with a slim build, short hair. He was wearing a ball cap, jeans and a sweater.
