The RCMP in Lillooet are asking for help in finding Joseph Zabotel who was reported missing over the weekend.

Zabotel, 75, is considered to be high risk as he has dementia.

Police say he was last seen on around noon yesterday near his house in the 1700-block of Hwy 99, between Lillooet and Cache Creek. At the time, he was wearing a blue checkered shirt and a blue cap with the word ‘Sylvania’ on it.

“We are concerned for Mr. Zabotel’s safety,” RCMP Const. Richard Wright said. “He was on foot and was improperly clothed for the cool weather.”
