Three more Kamloops schools are reporting COVID-19 exposures today, according to Interior Health’s online school exposure list.
An exposure is being reported at Westmount Elementary on Sept. 23 and 24, at A E Perry Elementary on Sept. 21, and at the Kamloops School of the Arts on Sept. 28.
That now makes 13 Kamloops-area schools with active exposures, 11 of which are within Kamloops city limits, the others being Logan Lake Elementary and Haldane Elementary in Chase.
Two of the 13 exposures are in private schools – at St. Ann’s Academy, which is partially closed, and at Our Lady of Perpetual Help School on the North Shore.
Elsewhere, in Merritt, there is an exposure being reporting at Merritt Bench Elementary (Sept. 22 to 24), adding to an exposure at Diamond Vale Elementary.
As of publishing, there were 80 active school exposures being reported within Interior Health schools.
