Kamloops RCMP say a keyboard will be returned to its owner after a suspect was arrested following an investigation into a break-and-enter from September.
Spokesperson Const. Crystal Evelyn says a suspect was arrested this past Monday, Oct. 4, near a residential building on the 200-block of Tranquille Road.
In a statement, she says the suspect was identified after police went through surveillance footage of the area following the incident in the early hours of Sept. 19, where someone broke into various vehicles.
“Police were able to locate the keyboard and seize break-in tools,” Evelyn said. “As a result of this investigation, officers anticipate being able to recommend charges related to theft over $5,000.”
No names were released but police say a Kamloops man was released with a court date, pending the conclusion of the investigation and a subsequent charge assessment.
