Kamloops RCMP are looking for help as they try to identify a person of interest in a sudden death investigation from late August.
In a statement, RCMP spokesperson Const. Crystal Evelyn says police were called to a business on the 1200-block of Summit Drive around 8 p.m. on August 26, to a report of a possible overdose. She says a man was pronounced dead shortly after that time.
“To date, investigators have been unable to identify a person of interest they’d like to speak with,” Evelyn said, noting police have released a photo of the suspect in the hopes that it helps identify him.
The man in question is white, stands about five-foot-ten with an average build. He was wearing a marijuana leaf hoodie, a black hat and pants, and black shoes. He was carrying a blue bag at the time.
If you are the person or know who he is, Evelyn says to call 250-828-3000 and reference file 2021-29876.
