
UPDATE – Kamloops RCMP and the BC Coroners are investigating the sudden death of a man in his 30s early this morning.
RCMP spokesperson Const. Crystal Evelyn says police were called to a parking lot on the 500-block of Notre Dame Drive in Sahali around 5:45 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 14 to assist firefighters and ambulance crews who were already on scene responding to a man who was in a cardiac arrest.
“It is not immediately known what caused the man’s death, and the investigation into what he was doing prior to his death is ongoing,” Evelyn said, in a statement. “The man has been identified and his family notified.
The parking lot near the Columbia Place Shopping Centre where the man was found was partially blocked off this morning as police and the coroners investigated.
