Tk’emlúps Rural RCMP are asking for help in finding a missing 39-year-old man who has not been seen since the summer.

Police say Peter Joseph Leonard lives a transient lifestyle and he has not been in contact with his family for quite some time, adding they are concerned for his wellbeing.

Leonard was last seen near Paul Lake Road, an area he is known to frequent along with Highway 5 and Chief Louis Way.

In a statement, RCMP spokesperson Const. Crystal Evelyn says recent attempts to locate Leonard have not been successful.

He is about six-feet tall with fair skin and brown hair. He also has a beard and blue eyes and owns a silver Subaru Forester, with BC plates LN 217B, which has not been found either.
