Kamloops RCMP say a woman in her 60s was assaulted in an alley in Brocklehurst around 3:24 p.m. Sunday afternoon, Nov. 28.

Spokesperson Const. Crystal Evelyn says the woman told police she was walking back from the Save On Foods in the 1800-block of Tranquille Road, when she was attacked from behind by two or three people.

“The suspects are described as Caucasian, possibly in their 20s, dressed in black and wearing face masks. One of the suspects may have had a tattoo on their arm,” she said. “The woman was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.”
