The first few days of the new year kept Kamloops RCMP busy, with reports including drug seizures, traffic violations, and an arrest of a man caught harassing customers.
An investigation is underway following the recovery of drugs and a weapon from a dangerous driver on the afternoon of New years Day.
The police responded to a call on Parkcrest Avenue near Holt Street of a pickup truck swerving and traveling at erratic speeds.
Officers towed the truck and issued tickets accordingly.
Another incident occurred on the afternoon of January 1st, where police were called to the 400-block of Lansdowne Street where they removed an intoxicated man allegedly making rude comments at customers.
The man was later arrested for uttering threats, and was placed in a call to prevent the situation any further.
Those with information about either of the above incidents are asked to contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000.
