A 40-year-old Salmon Arm man who went missing more than two weeks ago with his two daughters has been arrested in Ontario.
Salmon Arm RCMP also say they’ve “confirmed” the well-being of Eliyah, 14, and Avery Gerbrandt, 13, who were supposed to be staying at their grandparent’s house in the Shuswap community.
Last week, RCMP Staff Sgt. Scott West said Caleb was recently charged with sexual interference and sexual assault of a minor.
The trio were last seen at Caleb’s Salmon Arm home on Jan. 21, and police at the time said they were believed to be somewhere in the Lower Mainland or on Vancouver Island.
This morning, Salmon Arm RCMP say Caleb has been arrested and will be returned to British Columbia at a later date to answer to the charges before him. The did not say where in Ontario he was arrested.
