The Westsyde Whundas are BC 2A Seniors Boys provincial champions for the first time.
The Whundas, who were ranked fourth going into the tournament in Langley, overcame a 10-point deficit in the final quarter to beat the second seed Lambrick Park Lions of Victoria 73-71.
Caleb Gremaud led the way with 26 points while Caleb Ezedebego, who was named tournament MVP, had 24 points and nine defensive rebounds for Westsyde.
Lambrick Park was up 52-42 after three quarters but Westsyde rallied in the fourth and outscored their opponents 31-19 to win the provincial title.
Last week, the South Kamloops Titans finished second in the junior girls basketball provincials, losing 50-20 to Seaquam in the final.
