Kamloops RCMP are asking for help in identifying a suspect after an attempted break and enter early on Tuesday morning.

In a statement, police say they were notified about the attempted break in at a business on the 200-block of Victoria Street downtown, around 7:50 a.m. that day, April 5.

Spokesperson Const. Crystal Evelyn says there was some damaged caused when someone tried to break into the building overnight.

“Surveillance captured a clear image of the suspect, which police are hopeful will assist in identifying him and furthering the investigation,” she said.
