Kamloops RCMP say criminality is not suspected in the death of a 25-year-old woman who was reported missing last month.
Police say the body of Karissa Wilson was found this past Saturday, May 14. She was last seen in downtown Kamloops on April 24 and reported missing three days later, on April 27.
RCMP Spokesperson Const. Crystal Evelyn says the BC Coroners Service is also investigating Wilson’s death, noting no further information will be released.
“The Kamloops RCMP Detachment is thankful to the media and public for its assistance,” Evelyn said.
“The woman’s family has requested privacy.”
