
Kamloops RCMP say they seized drugs, cash, and weapons from an “erratic driver” on the North Shore.
They say they were called to the 700-block of Fortune Drive around 10:20 p.m. last Thursday, June 2, to a report that a car that was driving all over the road, turning its lights on and off, and travelling at erratic speeds.
“Police located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop, during which the driver was discovered to be prohibited,” Const. Crystal Evelyn said, in a statement.
She says police seized suspected drugs, cash, knives, an axe, baton, and other unidentified items as part of the investigation. They also say the vehicle was impounded for seven days, while the man – a Kamloops local – was released with a court date in relation to the driving offence.
No names were released neither were details about when the court date is.
