Kamloops RCMP say a man who is facing 10 charges is back in cells a little over than a week after he was released on bail.
Spokesperson, Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says an arrest warrant for 39-year-old Nicholas Marcel Benallick was issued and executed yesterday, Aug. 3.
The Kamloops man is charged with offences including attempt to break and enter into a home; loitering at night; forgery; possession of stolen property; possession of identification documents belonging to other people; and failing to comply with an undertaking.
“The warrant was issued under Section 512.3 of the Criminal Code, based on reasonable and probable grounds that the accused has or is about to contravene the conditions of his release,” Evelyn said, in a statement.
Benallick had a scheduled court appearance today.
