UPDATE Aug 11, 9 a.m.- Kamloops RCMP say the 48-year-old woman reported missing on Monday, Aug. 8, has been found dead.

In a brief update Thursday, police say the body of Rejeana Neveu was found yesterday, Aug. 10, the same day police put out a request for help in finding her.

Neveu was last seen by her family on Saturday, Aug. 6.

It is not clear where she was found dead but police say her last known location was in Lake Country on Aug. 7, the same day she last had electronic contact with her family.

RCMP say criminality is not suspected in her death, and that the BC Coroners Service is conducting a concurrent investigation.

Police say no further information will be released.
