Here are the winners of the City of Kamloops election, held Oct. 15, 2022, and their pre-election interview with Radio NL.
There were five candidates looking to replace the retiring Ken Christian as mayor of Kamloops, with 23 people eyeing one of eight councillor seats. There were also ten people in the running for the five Kamloops seats around the SD73 table.
A total of 23,218 ballots were cast, out of 80,025 eligible voters, for a 29.1 per cent voter turnout, a full percentage-point below the 30.1 per cent voter turnout in 2018.
