The recent IIOBC investigation marks the second time, almost to the day, in six months that investigators have been called to Kamloops.
Back in September, a man was killed in an officer involved shooting in the Rose Hill area.
IIO Chief Civilian Director Ron MacDonald says as of right now there is no update on his office’s investigation into the matter.
“Not at this point, the matter is certainly continuing and we’re awaiting some reports but nothing to make public at this point.”
The shooting took place about three kilometres past the Rose Hill subdivision Friday September 14th.
An RCMP news release at the time said police responded to a report of a “suspicious and possibly impaired man”
When officers arrived there was an exchange of gunfire and then the man was found dead.
